Didn't they used to be SMITH'S though?

Do they still exist?

Re: Crisp Of The Week
Fucking awful.

I gave up crisps years ago, they leave me feeling shit and half-satisfied.

I eat pumpkin and sunflower seeds now or a decent bit of biltong as my preferred snack.

Are salt and vinegar squares available for the same price?

They are much better.

Re: Crisp Of The Week
Smiths still exist, they're owned by PepsiCo who also own walkers and they renamed smiths stuff in this country to walkers as it has a stringer brand presence.

Space Invaders pickled onion flavour. Small bag, but a 20p a pop still packs a punch in financially fiscal times.

Anyone who voluntarily eats fucking seeds as a snack should seriously think about suicide.

Len, may I slightly hijack your estimable thread to recommend a Condiment of the Week (non-homemade)?

English Provender Moroccan Spiced Chutney.

Scoffing it now with cold slices of yesterday's roast beef. Blooming marvellous. I reckon it will be blinding with cheddar.

Seeds are fucking great vexed, you tried any?

Similar taste to nuts, but a fraction of the calories.

And you'd know all about eating nuts you bandit.

I can easily out-gay rios.

One of my favourite snacks-of-choice is raw peas.

Gawd bless supermarkets for selling shelled peas in snack-sized bags.

East Auckland Hammer 9:24 Mon Mar 20
Re: Crisp Of The Week
Raw, frozen peas are good for two things. Cooking, and bruising.

Nurse Ratched 9:26 Mon Mar 20
Re: Crisp Of The Week
Ha, yeah.

These are fresh shelled peas, though

riosleftsock 9:27 Mon Mar 20
Re: Crisp Of The Week
Raw peas are excellent, but nowhere as good as raw cabbage, cut into thin slices. Been eating raw cabbage for nigh on 45 years now.

Salt and shake.

6 bags for a quid in Iceland.

Re: Crisp Of The Week
I loved picking peas in my dads garden and scoffing them , occasionally you would come across a maggot or a larvae of some sort.
